January 2013 - Headin' for some Shreadin'

What is I Love Bend, OR?

Simply stated, it is a site for “us”. Who is “us”? It’s anyone who is passionate about Central Oregon and the lifestyle it represents.

We live here, we work here, we play here, our kids go to school here and, well…we love this place!

Apparently, so do many of you, because our little grassroots effort has already earned over 7,000 Facebook followers and we have sold thousands of our “I Love Bend, OR” stickers.

This site has come to life as a result of the many, many requests we have had to develop and offer other merchandise other than our stickers.

Therefore...

I Love Bend OR (ILBO) is pleased to announce the release of our second annual wall calendar, featuring Gold Olympic Medalist Ashton Eaton.

The 2013 calendar features the wildly popular photography of Jill Rosell and also includes an expansive list of Central Oregon’s signature events, making it what many call Bend’s official “non-official” calendar.

“Last year’s response to our inaugural calendar was so great that it was only natural we create a second,” states Rosell. “The calendars are perfect for holiday gifts, client gifts or anyone who loves Bend, its never-ending beauty, and wants to be aware of and involved in Bend’s local events.”

Rosell is also thrilled that the calendar features Olympian Ashton Eaton. “What better way to showcase Bend than to have the World’s greatest athlete on the cover!”

The 2013 calendars retail for $9.99 - $12.99 depending on quantity. They are available at many local retailers, as well as here.  A percentage of the proceeds will go to Abilitree (formerly CORIL).

“I am continuously amazed by the beauty of both nature and the people of Central Oregon,” said Rosell. “I hope my calendar reflects the magnificent aspects of our community and reminds us of why we are proud to call this place home.”
